Obituary for C. A. Glover

Ozark – C.A. Glover 80, passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 30, 2019. He was an honorary deputy for Itawamba County Sheriff’s Dept., member of Colt single action revolver Assoc., and held the nickname, “Ozark Kid”. He was also a 32nd degree mason and retired from Rockwell Ind. He was a member of Parker’s Chapel Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Thursday, May 02, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Douglas Kitchens officiating. Burial will be in Kirkville Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Geraldine Griggs Glover of Ozark; son, Jeff Glover (Bonnie) of Houston, TX; granddaughter, Samantha McClendon of Paris, France.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Shallar Allred Glover; two sis-ters, Shirley Boren and Patricia Pounds.

Pallbearers will be Randy Griggs, Brad Ingram, Chris Spigner, Keith Pounds, and Jay Mansell and Deputy Skip Johnson.

Itawamba County Sheriff’s Dept. will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until service time.

Jackie and Jimmy Ingram and Houston MS. Volunteer Fire Dept.
